Andrea Ducote Aymond
Andrea Ducote Aymond was a 2014 candidate for the 12th Judicial District in Louisiana.[1] She is believed to have been the first female to ever run for the 12th District Court.[2] Aymond was defeated in the 2014 election.[3]

Ducote Aymond ran for election to the 12th Judicial District.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 38.2 percent of the vote. She competed against Barry Laiche and Kerry Spruill.
General: She was defeated in the general election on December 6, 2014, after receiving 46.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Kerry Spruill.

Career
Aymond has been an assistant district attorney since 2005. She is the special victim's prosecutor.[5]
