Andrea Phoenix is a judge for the District Court of Nassau County in New York. She joined the court in 2007 and her current term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Phoenix received an undergraduate degree from Hampton University, a Masters in Communication/Education from The Ohio State University and a J.D. from Hofstra University.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Phoenix was an attorney in private practice.[1]
2012 election
Phoenix was one of six candidates competing for three positions in the general election on November 6, 2012. She ran on the Democratic, Green and Working Families tickets and was re-elected with 18.63 percent of the vote.[2][3]
