Andres S. Vargas was a judge for the Taos County Probate Court in Taos County, New Mexico. He was elected to the court in 2006 and re-elected in 2010.[1][2] Vargas did not seek re-election in 2014, and retired from the bench at the end of his last term on December 31, 2014.[3]

Vargas was re-elected to the Taos County Probate Court. He defeated Sadie Frances Boyer in the general election, receiving 72.4 percent of the vote.[3]
