Andrew A. Crecca is a justice for the Suffolk County Supreme Court in New York. He was elected to this position on November 2, 2010 and took office in early 2011.[1][2][3]
Education
Crecca received his B.A. degree from Marist College in 1986 and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1989.[3]
Career
Crecca began his career in 1989 as an Assistant District Attorney of New York County. He worked as a sole practitioner under the title Andrew A. Crecca, Esq., Attorney at Law from 1994 to 1999. He then worked with Crecca & Blair, Esqs., Attorney at Law from 1999 until returning to his solo practice in 2003. He worked in that capacity until 2004 and also served as a Suffolk County Legislator from 2000 to 2004. In 2003 and 2004, he also taught as an adjunct assistant professor at Hofstra University. He joined the Suffolk County Court in 2005 and was elected to the Supreme Court in 2010.[3][1]
