Andrew Bailey (Missouri)
Andrew Bailey (Republican Party) was the Attorney General of Missouri. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. He left office on September 8, 2025.
Bailey (Republican Party) ran for re-election for Attorney General of Missouri. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
On August 18, 2025, President Donald Trump (R) appointed Bailey as co-deputy director of the FBI.[1] His resignation from the Missouri Attorney General’s office was effective September 8, 2025.[2]
Gov. Mike Parson (R) appointed Bailey after former Attorney General Eric Schmitt (R) was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Biography
Baily received a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law. Prior to his appointment as attorney general, Bailey served in the U.S. military and as general counsel to the Office of Governor Mike Parson.[3]
