Andrew Beeler is a US Navy Veteran returning home from active-duty to serve his community as State Representative. Prior to joining the Navy in 2010, Andrew was a lifelong resident of Port Huron where he attended local Catholic schools. After graduating from the US Naval Academy in 2014, he went on to serve as a Surface Warfare Officer on two ships and deployed across the South and East China Seas and the Arabian Gulf. He is returning to give back to the community that raised him and to deliver on making the government work for the people. He is running to defend Constitutional rights, repair Michigan's education system, and make Michigan the destination of choice for people starting or growing their business.
  • Andrew is a proven leader who has been tested in high-stress situations. He will go to Lansing and become a leader on the policy fights that matter most to the 83rd District.
  • Andrew is a young, energetic conservative who is continuing the wave of young conservative leaders stepping up to fight for our values at the local, state and federal level.
  • Andrew has been a servant-leader to people of diverse backgrounds; he knows how to get things done without compromising his values. He will be a force of action in Lansing despite partisan gridlock.
Andrew is passionate about defending Constitutional rights, repairing our education system and continuing to support Michigan businesses. He is a small government conservative who is seeking to hold the government accountable for doing their job.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Michigan

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
