Andrew Blount
Andrew Blount was a Republican candidate for Governor of California in the 2014 elections.[1][2] He dropped out of the race in late April 2014, which was too late for his name to be removed from the June 3 primary ballot.[3]
At the time of his candidacy, Blount was serving as mayor of Laguna Hills.[4]

Blount was running for election to the office of Governor of California. He planned to seek one of two possible nominations in the June 3 primary election, but decided to withdraw his candidacy a month before the primary election. Though no longer a candidate, his name still appeared on the primary ballot.[3][1] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
