Andrew Chappell
Andrew Chappell is a judge for the Sixth District of Iowa. He was appointed by Gov. Terry Branstad (R) on February 10, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Robert E. Sosalla.[1]
Biography
Chappell earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the University of Iowa.[1]
At the time of his appointment to the bench, Chappell was a prosecutor for Johnson County. His professional experience also includes work in private practice for the Iowa City firm Phelan Tucker Mullen Walker Tucker & Gelman.[1]
