I’ve been volunteering in school since my first child was in kindergarten. I’ve volunteered as a PTA President, PTA Council President, and School Community Council Chair. I interact regularly with our parents, teachers, and school administrators. I understand that to know the issues our schools are face you need to be in the schools.
The future of our district depends on elected officials that will listen, learn, and ask questions. I will remain focused on those we exist to serve: our students.- I’ve made a difference in our schools by volunteering my time in school. I’m not a Monday morning quarterback complaining at school board meetings or social gatherings. You’ll find me volunteering in our schools, working with our teachers, administrators, and parents.
- As a Military Officer, I have experience working with diverse groups of people. To truly serve our district, we must be willing to listen to and work with people that have diverse backgrounds.
- Canyons School District isn’t Washington D.C., New York, or Salt Lake City. We have our own unique challenges and culture. I’ll fight for decisions to be made at the local level, and push against the outsider agendas that seek to divide us and burden our parents, students, and teachers.
