Andrew G. Tarantino, Jr.
Andrew G. Tarantino Jr. was a judge for the Suffolk County Family Court in New York. He began serving in this capacity in 2007, following his election. He also served as an acting justice of the Suffolk County Supreme Court—beginning in 2011—and as an acting judge of the Suffolk County Court. His last term ended in 2016.[1][2]
Education
Tarantino received his B.A. degree from Texas Christian University in 1976 and his J.D. degree from the City University of New York Law School in 1991.[1]
Career
Tarantino began his career in 1991 as a solo practitioner. In 2000, he became a partner of Sarisohn Law Partners, where he served until 2004. He was then an assistant county attorney from 2004 through 2006. In 2007, he joined the family court. He was also appointed an acting supreme court justice in 2011.[1]
