Recall opponents
Ginther gave a statement after petitions began circulating. The statement read, "Mayor Ginther remains focused on making critical police reforms, eliminating the racism that persists in our community, and advancing change to create opportunity for Columbus residents. We hear the anger of our residents and share their frustrations. Criticism is the price of leadership, and the mayor fully accepts the challenges at hand. But we are stronger together, and ask Columbus residents to join with us in the important, difficult work that lies ahead.[1]
