Collapse all
|- Conservative spending, using every tax dollar wisely. Reform the tax codes so Billionaires pay their fair share, lower the tax burden on the middle class, balance the budget, pay down the deficit. To continue to be strong, we have to be financially strong as well. It can be done. Intelligent decisions with accountable actions will get us there. We can all disagree, but we must find a way to work together.
- Reproductive rights must be protected and guaranteed. The choice a woman makes with her body is hers and hers alone. It is up to her, hopefully with input from her doctor, her family, and her loved ones. Not Politicians. Not Insurance Companies. And not Neighbors.
Programs need to be properly funded that can aid a woman if she chooses to keep her baby. Programs that would not just provide basic survival, but create a path for both mother and child to prosper. Nurturing, Nutrition, Education, Daycare, Work assistance, College affordability.
How can we help expecting mothers feel safe in keeping their children? That is the proper way to decrease the fear and need for abortion. Support all mothers and children. - Government exists to Protect, not Control. Protect Everyone’s Basic Freedoms. The Right to Bear Arms. Gun ownership is protected and guaranteed. However, it can be made safer thru common sense decisions. Free Speech. A Free country allows everyone a voice, even if it is unpopular, and maybe most particularly when it is unpopular. The right to speak your mind can not be silenced. Freedom of the Press. Allowing access to public information is a cornerstone of the country. The Press must be free to report the truth and inform the public. Freedom to assemble. Freedom for workers to form Unions have proven over the years to create a strong working class. Book burning/banning ideas is wrong.

Healthcare Reform
Protect Social Security
Protect Medicare and Medicaid
Protect Retirement Benefits. Need more pensions, less relying on 401k’s
Reduce the overall cost of living for families.
Eliminate personal property tax for $500k or less.
Reduce Insurance costs.
Pass Fair Cost Act, to eliminate company price gouging.
John F Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr are both role models. Listen to their speeches and read what they have said and believed.
Transparency is important. Allow who you represent to know what is happening and why.
Leadership. It can be difficult making decisions that impact a large number of people. A leader has to weigh those de jail s carefully and make the choice that will have the most benefit to the majority of the people, not a select few.
The opposite side isn’t the enemy. Americans may disagree, but they work together to get the job done.
Also, if bills need to be created, the hard work of sponsoring and drafting bills must take place.
Government is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Accountability is a must and cutting corners should never be allowed.
