Andrew M. Edison is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He was appointed to the court on February 20, 2018.[1]

Education

Edison obtained a B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1991 and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1994.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas as a federal magistrate judge in 2018, Edison worked as a partner at the law firm Edison, McDowell & Hetherington LLP (2009-2018). Before that, Edison was a partner at Bracewell LP from 2002 to 2009, where he previously worked from 1994 to 2000. He served as senior counsel at Enron Corp. from January to December 2001.[2]
