Judicial misconduct allegations (2016)
In December 2016, the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board filed a complaint accusing Judge Hladio of judicial misconduct. According to the complaint, Hladio showed "improper conduct toward district court clerks," "improper demeanor" while serving in court, and a "failure to uphold and apply the law." The allegations span his time on court, beginning in 2010. Hladio responded to the allegations, saying, "I deny the allegations, and I do not believe it is fair or appropriate to comment any further out of full respect for the judicial conduct board process."
