Andrew Miller has lived in Kansas City's 24th district since 2007. Miller bought his forever home in 2015 right in the heart of District 24. Miller is an Overland Park , KS. native so he has always considered Kansas City home. Milelr attended High School in KCMO and recived his BS in finance from UMKC. Miller has spent 13 years working with his families company and starting a few of his own. Miller is a job creator and huge believier in a persons right to blaze theier own path with limted government interference. . Miller has one son who has been raised a proud Chiefs and Royals fan, despite spending most of his time outside of Kansas City. Brought up in a household with 3 siblings and maternal grandparents who immigrated from Mexico, the ideas of personal freedoms, faith, entrepreneurship, and non-government mandated charity were strong themes that carry through to this day. Local involvement includes 13+ year of voulenterring , donataions of time , money, and sponsorships.
Miller is not a career politician, nor should there be career politicians. As someone living in our District, contributing to the community, paying taxes, buying property, leveraging infrastructure and resources, worshiping, shopping in our stores, creating jobs, it's clear less government regulation and taxation fosters all good things. Throughout our district he hears time and time again in every issue the same themes: self responsibility, personal freedom, and minimum government. This resonates! This is what Miller will bring to the District, not only on specific issues, however also as a fundamental message.
Miller believes that every citzen is entitled to ALL of their liberities ALL of the time , regardless of sex, race, faith, sexual affliation or politics! That the vast majority of people are more moderate/indpendent/libertian then the career politicans give them credit for.
A legacy of less government, more personal responsibility. A legacy that allows people to understand that government should be working for you not making you dependent on it.
My first job was at SunFresh. I bagged groicers, cleaned the meat room, bakery and deli. I started it when I was 14 and have been gainful emplyeed every since. I left SunFresh after 3 years to become a baker at Bagel and Bagel.
I do not belive its beneficial at all. The only benefit it would have would be to continue to prepetuate the current corrupt duplicty. Real people with real world experience solvivng real problems is the only way. Term limits are also crucial for this.
The Governor should have a very trasparent relationship wiht the state legislature , not only to achieve his/her goals but to make sure the voices of the people are actaully being heard and accounted for.
100% Having a clear idea of your fellow legislators agenda, thought process, willingness to do whats best for the state is paramount. KNowing your fellow legislators allows you to use emotional intelligence when speaking with them and resolving issues.
