I'm not your typical politician. I'm a working-class Oklahoman who understands the day-to-day struggles we all face. I'm running as an Independent because I believe good ideas don't belong to any one party. Whether you're a Republican feeling left behind, a Democrat seeking fresh perspectives, or a fellow Independent voter looking for genuine representation – I'm here to listen and fight for you. It's time for a different course of action in Oklahoma. One that puts people before party, community before corporate interests, and hope before division. Tulsa is where I grew up and I've been putting down roots in District 37 for over a decade as a homeowner. This isn't just where I live – it's where I've built my life, my community, and where, I hope, our dreams for a better Oklahoma can happen.
  • Education Reform and Funding. As your representative, I'm committed to revolutionizing our education system. Every child in Oklahoma deserves a quality education that prepares them for the future. Reduce the overall size of the bureaucracy while focusing on local control. Focus on student literacy and real world outcomes while guarding against implementing purely data-driven decision-making and private interests. Ensuring each school is fully staffed with Teachers, Counselors, Para-Professionals and support staff. Providing more dollars directly to school districts for supplies. Teachers should not be paying out of pocket for any supplies. We can build an education system that truly serves our children and our communities.
  • Cost of Living and Housing Access. I am committed to making housing accessible and affordable for every Oklahoman. The dream of home ownership is out of reach for many and high housing costs are effecting us all and leading to high levels of homelessness and eviction. The solution is to increase housing supply, lower the concentration of housing ownership by corporate and private interests, and provide tax breaks to homeowners as well as subsidies and down payment assistance to first-time home buyers. I'm committed to addressing the rising cost of living and ensuring that every Oklahoman can afford basic necessities, including food and healthcare.
  • Corruption and Government Waste. No longer should we play partisan politics with corruption and waste. Members of both parties have been guilty in the past while these indiscretions were looked over in the name of building or maintaining political power. Real financial consequences have been endured for far too long while corrupt special interests and lobbyists have abused our system.
Environmental Preservation and Sustainable Energy Growth. We have an amazing opportunity to innovate and build an entire new system for humanity built around sustainability and equity. I'm committed to promoting sustainable practices and renewable energy to ensure a cleaner, greener future for Oklahoma. This path is about creating jobs, boosting our economy, and securing our energy independence while preserving our environment for future generations.
The responsibility of an elected official can not be understated. The most important principles are Honesty and Responsible Governance. With so many people in our country struggling and other crisis' looming, any form of corruption and government waste should be stopped and intentional violations should be prosecuted both in the public and private sectors. Transparency and Integrity should be our goal in order to ensure the public trust in government is strengthened.
Clarity of Thought and Vision. So often we are lead astray in this Age of Knowledge with misinformation. I intend to cut through the deceptions of the modern political and corporate structures to provide a clear vision for our country.
We are elected as representatives of our communities. Goals and priorities that are valued by our constituents should be our top concern when considering budgets and drafting legislation. We should also push to bring about a society that works for all residents of the state and tribal nations in Oklahoma. We must guard against division and work to find solutions that we reach through compromise and compassionate governance.
Soccer Referee. Quite a few years when I was a teenager.
Open communication with a focus on improving the lives of all citizens. As your representative, I'm committed to modernizing and strengthening our democratic process in Oklahoma. Our state's future depends on a fair, accessible, and robust voting system that ensures every voice is heard and every vote counts.
Education funding and teacher retention. Transitioning away from traditional oil and gas production towards alternate fuels and technologies. Ensuring positive economic outcomes for poor and working class Oklahomans.
While all experience can be beneficial, the 'regular' business of governance has become an ivory tower with most citizens distrustful of a system that produces such little progress.
Common ground and cooperation are the hallmarks of humanity. For far too long these values have been forgotten and the people have suffered. I vow to work with any politician that is committed to providing solutions for all citizens. I will speak truth to power when legislation is wasteful, unconstitutional or discriminatory. We need to leave behind the era of scoring political points and provide fair outcomes for all.
If we are truly to call ourselves a representative body then we must remain aware of the people's opinions and proclivities. Power should not be vested in one individual but should be democratic.
Our challenges are many. Inflation and price controls. Increasing affordable housing. State Department of Education reform. Sustainability initiatives. Ranked choice voting.
Education, Appropriations, General Government, Energy and Telecommunications.
Transparency should be increased and confidence in government should be a constant goal. Any form of waste, corruption or fraud should be rooted out.
We need to strengthen the access to the petition process. Online signature gathering should be instituted. Barriers to this process should be prevented.
