Since March 1, 2023 I have been an Administrative Law Judge with the Washington state Office of Administrative Hearings. Prior to that I owned an immigration law firm for over five years. I have also assisted in the areas of aviation law, bankruptcy law, and corporate law.
  • I became a judge in order to serve the community. I have sought to provide justice to all parties before the court. I seek to interpret the laws in place and apply those laws to the evidence provided in each matter.
  • I believe the courts should be open and available to all participants, including those acting as their own representatives. While this does not change the burden the individual must meet, I do believe the process can be daunting. At times, the process may be made more clear and understood by the judge conducting the hearing.
  • The position of Superior Court Judge is nonpartisan. I have not raised funds. I did not ask for endorsements from my colleagues and fellow judges. I enjoy the local farmers markets. I attend Mariners games. I seek to serve the community I enjoy taking part in, and I ask for your vote.
Due process for all individuals. While this is a right entitled, it is complacency that leads to erosion of what should be taking place. I will assist in explaining the process, ensuring judicial efficiency, and respecting all individuals before the court.
