Smith (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives to represent District 25B. He declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on August 11, 2026.[source]
Smith also ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Minnesota's 1st Congressional District. He will not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on August 11, 2026.
On May 9, 2025, Smith announced on Tiktok that he was not running for the U.S. House representing Minnesota's 1st Congressional District.[1]
Biography
Andrew Smith earned a B.A. in theology from Moody Bible Institute and an M.Div. in theology from Westminster Seminary California. Smith's career experience includes owning a business.[2]
