Andrew Tillman was the chancellor of the Eighth District Chancery Court in Tennessee. The court presides over Campbell, Claiborne, Fentress, Scott and Union counties. He was appointed by Governor Bill Haslam on April 15, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the death of Judge Billy Joe White.[1]

Tillman was defeated in his bid for election to the court on August 7, 2014. He served out the remainder of White's term, which expired at the end of that month.[2]

General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 43.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Elizabeth C. Asbury. [2]

Education

Tillman received his B.S. in mathematics from Northeastern Oklahoma State in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1989.[1][3]
