  • For too long, South Texas has been treated like the end of the line. It's time we put our communities on the fast track to the future. As your representative, I will lead the effort to secure federal investment and bring a modern, high-speed rail line—the Bullet Train—right here to Texas District 28.

Economic Opportunity, Not Traffic Jams: This isn't just about speed; it's about jobs. Construction and operation of a high-speed rail line will create thousands of good-paying, long-term careers right here in the Valley. It means more tourists, more commerce, and more companies choosing to invest in our region.

The bullet train will dramatically reduce travel times, linking the 28 District seamlessly with San Antonio.
  • "In Texas District 28, our families are struggling to keep up. We work hard, we pay our bills, but one emergency or one diagnosis can wipe out a lifetime of savings. We are tired of seeing seniors forced to choose between groceries and vital prescription drugs. We are tired of paying skyrocketing premiums while corporate CEOs rake in massive profits. This stops now." "My fight in Washington will be to make sure that in the 28th District, your health is not determined by your bank account. We will take on the pharmaceutical giants and the special interests to deliver real, affordable, and accessible healthcare for every single family. Join me, and let's bring sanity back to our healthcare system."
  • Most Kids in South Texas cant afford college. Education for Success: Skip the Debt We must slash educational costs and create high-paying jobs right here in District 28. My plan: Invest in High School Tech Pathways—programs offering certification and vocational training in fields like Computer Science and Biotech Engineering. Graduates will enter the workforce with skills, experience, and zero debt, ready for a great career immediately after high school. Real skills. Real jobs. No debt. It's time to put our students on the fast track to prosperity.
I am deeply passionate about the Small Business Administration (SBA) because small businesses are the heartbeat of District 28, creating 61% of all new jobs.

We need an SBA that works faster, fights harder against fraud, and serves every entrepreneur. My plan:

Cut the Red Tape: Streamline loan processes so capital reaches small businesses faster.

Boost Local Access: Increase funding for local Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) and Women's Business Centers right here in South Texas.

Modernize Contracting: Ensure more federal contracts—especially in rural areas—go to local, minority, and veteran-owned firms.

Let's transform the SBA into a true partner for prosperity, ensuring every innovative idea gets its chance to succeed!
