Having lived in the Central Valley all my life I have witnessed the changes and challenges our state has gone through the past few decades. I have also see and felt some of the struggles of its working class and lower income populations. My wife and I have been and plan to continue raising our children here. Therefore, I am personally invested in seeing our state's current and future economy strong, our people healthy, and our communities safe. As a member of the working class, I believe I have a solid prospective of what the majority of our citizens need from their government representatives. My special interest is the complete well-being of all people residing in California. If elected, I will listen to the people living in my district and strive to vote based on what the people actually need and want. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to represent and serve this amazing and complex state as a California Assembly Member. Please join me in this journey and vote Andrew Verhines, Thank you!
  • I believe government was created to serve the people, not for the people to serve government.
  • I believe the bipartisan voice of reason is lacking in government and I will strive to be that voice.
  • I believe in the California that business and people come to instead of leave.
There is not a single public policy that I currently am more concerned about that another. All policies that impact the public's well-bing are equally important. All policies should be working together to make our state a place were people can create fruitful lives.
