Ballotpedia biographical submission form

The candidate completed Ballotpedia's biographical information submission form:

What is your political philosophy?

"I will work to restore to the Office of State Treasurer, the...

1) Unclaimed Property Program 2) EdVest Program 3) Local Government Investment Pool

Duties I wish to add / things I wish to do.

1) I believe the State Treasurer should oversee the state's Rainy Day Fund, not an unelected bureaucrat. 2) Be a fiscal watchdog for the taxpayers of Wisconsin. 3) I support capitalism and will use this office to speak out against crony capitalism and subsidies which I believe are a misue of public monies. Private busineses should rise or fall on their own merits and should also be able to enjoy any profits they legally generate, but public monies (taxes and fees) should be for public purposes only (paying state workers, road/highway maintenance, paying for constitutional government programs.) 4) I will also use the office to educate students, senior citizens and everyone inbetween about how to save money and protect themselves against identity theft."

Is there anything you would like to add?

"I ran for State Treasurer in 2014 on a platform of protecting this constitutionally elected office. Following the great choice of the voters this April to reject the referendum which would eliminate this office, I decided to run again.

Campaign Guarantees -

1) If elected I will serve only one term. 2) I will not spend more on my campaign than the office I'm campaigning for pays in one year. 3) I will not accept donations from individuals or organizations/lobbyists outside of Wisconsin, nor will I accept donations from individuals or organizations/lobbyists whose views are in conflict with mine."[2]
