Andy Hawes
Andy Hawes was an at-large member of the Boise School District Board of Trustees in Idaho. He assumed office on April 12, 2021. He left office on June 1, 2023.
Hawes ran in a special election for an at-large seat of the Boise School District Board of Trustees in Idaho. He won in the special general election on September 6, 2022.
Hawes was a nonpartisan candidate for the Boise City Council in Idaho. Andy Hawes lost the general election on November 3, 2015.
Biography
Hawes is from Boise, Idaho, and attended Boise High School. He received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Denver in 1992 and a J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1994. Hawes' professional experience includes working as general counsel at Western Pacific Timber, LLC. He was the commissioner of the Idaho State Bar from 2005 to 2008, and also served as president.[1]
