High provided the following statement for the Deschutes County voter's pamphlet:

I am asking for your vote for the Bend-LaPine School Board. I know the value in making sure our students have a quality education. This requires the board to find ways to make our schools “World Class” to be able to compete in the global market.

As a father of threee, I have a vested intrest in making sure our students are prepared. I am a product of public education from first grade to my degree at Western Oregon University. I am committed to hold those who work with our students accountable but will work with them to make sure our educators have the abliity to work in the classroom. We must continue to find ways to reduce the bureaucracy and maintain local control of our schools.

As your board member, I will continue efforts to reduce class size, create opportunites for our students, and be a good steward of taxpayer money. I will work with parents and staff to ensure that the district is communicating with you and preparing our young people for success. I look forward to working with you and ask for your vote.[4]
