I broke new ground in my family by pursuing higher education, attending both college and graduate school. I have served my community as an HOA board president, Doraville Planning Commission Chairman, and twice elected to the Doraville City Council.

  • The welfare of animals under the care of DeKalb Animal Services must be a priority, with clear plans and actions required to address ongoing issues. A four-year-old shelter should not be on the news. The County has a tremendous advocacy group. It is time to listen to them and develop concrete plans to follow their 5 common-sense ideas.
  • DeKalb County’s services require attention and improvement to better serve both city dwellers and residents of unincorporated areas. It is essential to recognize efforts for resolution and focus on collaborative approaches for faster outcomes.
It is time for the DeKalb County Commission get back to the basics of county operations and helping people. We provide better services to a billionaire storing his $80-million jet than someone having a mental health crisis, someone sitting in jail on a misdemeanor, or an animal in the care of our shelter. We can and we must do better.
