Angel Cadena (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Connecticut's 3rd Congressional District. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Cadena was a 2016 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Connecticut.[1]
Cadena was a Republican candidate for Connecticut Comptroller in the 2014 elections.[2]

Both candidates won their nomination at a party convention and did not face a primary election in August. DeLauro won reeelection in the November 8 election.[3][4][5]
