|I was born and raised in Quincy, IL. My family roots in the Quincy area go back to the 1800s. My moral and political beliefs were formed from listening to Gospel readings in daily Mass while attending Catholic schools. My guiding principle in my personal and political life is "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." My two primary goals in politics are to increase the political and economic power of the poor and working classes, and to create and maintain a robust culture and legislation of transparency and accountability in all government functions.
- Pro-union, Pro-worker, Pro-Veteran
- Supporting small farms and business by reducing government regulations
- transparency and accountability in Illinois state government
I'm also passionate about helping small businesses and small farms get started and thrive in west central Illinois. I'll work to reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens on small enterprises - to help create jobs, keep more money in the local economy, and provide consumers greater choice.
