Angel Varnado was a 2014 candidate for the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana.[1]

Varnado ran for election to the 24th Judicial District.
Primary: She was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 32.8 percent of the vote. She competed against Adrian Adams and Theresa Miles. [1][2]

Education

Varnado received a B.S. in psychology and a J.D. from Louisiana State University. She also has a certificate in human resources management from Tulane University and spent two years working towards a master's degree in counselling at the University of New Orleans.[3]

Career

Prior to running for the district court, Varnado served as an assistant district attorney. She has previously been an attorney at the law firm of Pugh, Accardo, Haas, Radecker and Cary.[3]
