Biography
Grabovsky's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
ECONOMY Entitlement Reform: We need to review Social Security, as it is not fully funded. We need to strengthen work requirements. We haven’t fully funded Social Security and Medicare and we cannot be spending on other entitlements until we do. Poverty: Poverty amongst kids and seniors in some areas is upwards of 20% — and this is in the richest country in the world. Instead of putting other countries on our priority list, we should think about our citizens first. Balancing the Budget: Both parties are printing money and spending like there is no tomorrow. We must design a budget plan. Start cutting 1 penny on every dollar spent. We should have a balanced budget in 10 -15 years. Inflation: 7.5% inflation rate is the highest in 40 years. When Biden took office, it was 1.4%. Depending on how fast and how high it goes, it will bring on a recession. Businesses will be reluctant to borrow money for growth at the higher rates and they will start firing employees causing unemployment to go up while the market goes down.
Russia & Ukraine: Putin is getting away with his attacks on Ukraine because he knows Biden is weak. Biden’s mishandling of the troops in Afghanistan shows weakness and instability. Our allies now have a lack of confidence in their support from America. Biden’s disastrous mishandling of Afghanistan emboldened our enemies, particularly Putin, which is distracting the world from China trying to take Taiwan back.
Social & Economic Development: Education promotes gender equality, fosters peace, and increases individuals’ chances of having better life and career opportunities. Depoliticize Education: Teachers should teach subject matter and not bring their political views to the classroom. School Choice: Parents should know exactly what is going on in the classroom. Reducing Crime & Pushing Potential: Upward mobility is generally defined as the ability for a child to move between socioeconomic levels during their lifetime. An individual’s level of education has a significant impact on their future income earnings, and thus on their potential for upward mobility.
Increase in Crime: Right now, crime is rampant in Democrat-led cities across the country. Murders have increased from 140 to 271 per year in Indianapolis since full Democrat control. Officers were forced to stand down by Democratic leadership while rioters destroyed our city. Support the Police: Bring back resources to our district so that local law enforcement has everything they need
Border Security: We need to keep border patrol personnel, support, and resources high. Legal Immigration: By streamlining the process for legal immigration, we can provide renewable work visas-pass background check, pay back taxes, pay income taxes, and maintain employment.[4] |
