Angela Greene

Angela Greene is a judge for the Alaska Second District. She was appointed to the court by Governor Sean Parnell on November 20, 2014, to replace retiring Judge Michael I. Jeffery.[1] Greene will face retention in 2020.[2] Greene is the first woman to serve as superior court judge in the American Arctic.
Education
Greene earned her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and her J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Green was supervising public defender for the Alaska Public Defender Agency. She has also worked as a public defender in Bethel and Barrow, Alaska.[2]
