Biography

Angela Hoover was born in Kentucky. She served in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1986. Hoover earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a certification in project management from the University of Maryland University College in 2012. Her career experience includes working as a food and beverage director for the U.S. Navy. Hoover has also served as a committeewoman for the Democratic Party of Okaloosa.[1]

Social programs that promote a fair and equitiable society for everyone. An educational system that allows everyone to have the necessary tools to contribute to their communities. Criminal justice reform so that we do not have a revolving door system that shuts out opportunities for people to live a law-abiding existence. Focus on the future by realizing that we are all in this together and no one can do this alone.
A selfless character that understood my life was more than just about me.
I was born into extreme poverty and spent many years of my childhood as a Ward of the State of Kentucky. The hardest part is to share with people those years because so many are struggling and I would rather focus on them.
People have different skill levels and some people can pick up information quickly. It can be challenging for some to grasp the beaucracy that comes with government work.
Other than the reprecussions from Covid-19 which will be our greastest economic challenge; population growth and aging citizens come in at a close second.
Absolutely, we must come toether to solve the issues affecting our State. We've seen in the Executive branch what happens when one party refuses to even hear the issues of the opposition.
Of course the U.S. Dicennial Census that I was honored to work will be the best for information gathered. In the future the expansion and growth information that is tracked through the Economic Development Board.
