Angela McLean (Democratic Party) was the lieutenant governor of Montana from 2014 to 2015. Governor of Montana Steve Bullock (D) appointed McLean to the position on February 10, 2014. McLean replaced former Lt. Gov. John Walsh (D) after Walsh was appointed to the U.S. Senate.[1]

McLean announced on November 30, 2015, that she would resign to become director of American Indian and minority achievement at the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education. She stepped down as lieutenant governor on December 31, 2015, and began working for the commissioner's office on January 4, 2016.[2][3]

Governor of Montana Steve Bullock appointed McLean lieutenant governor on February 10, 2014, after previous officeholder John Walsh (D) stepped down to become a U.S. Senator.[1]

Board of Regents (2010-2014)

Governor of Montana Brian Schweitzer appointed McLean to the Board of Regents, which oversees the state university system, in 2010.[1]

State Board of Public Education (2006-2010)

Governor of Montana Brian Schweitzer appointed McLean to the state Board of Public Education in 2006.

Vice chair, Montana Board of Public Education (2007-2010)
McLean was elected vice chair of the state board of Public Education in 2007 and held that post until she was appointed to the Board of Regents.[1]
