Angela Michael was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 15th Congressional District of Illinois. Michael ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, but was defeated in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]

Michael lost to Republican John Shimkus.[2] Michael ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Illinois' 15th District. Michael ran on the Democratic ticket.[3] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, and the primary took place on March 20, 2012.

Michael ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. She was defeated by John Shimkus (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.
