Angela Navarro was a member of the Virginia State Corporation Commission. She assumed office on January 4, 2021. She left office on March 10, 2022.

She was appointed to the commission by Gov. Ralph Northam (D) on January 4, 2021, to replace Mark Christie. The Virginia General Assembly approved the appointment and elected her to a term that ended on January 31, 2022.[1][2][3]

Biography

Angela Navarro earned a B.A. in English and business marketing from the University of Florida in 2006 and a J.D. from Georgetown University in 2009. Navarro's career experience includes working as the president of ALN Policy and Law, the deputy secretary of commerce and trade with the administration of Governor Ralph Northam, the deputy secretary of natural resources with the administrations of Governor Terry McAuliffe and Ralph Northam, and an attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center.[4]
