Biography
O'Connor was appointed as the chair of the Massachusetts Public Utilities Commission by Governor of Massachusetts Charlie Baker (R) in January 2015. Prior to being appointed by the governor, Angela was the executive director of TechNet, a national, bipartisan CEO-led trade association founded in 1997. O’Connor joined TechNet after her tenure as president of New England Power Generators Association (NEPGA), and previously served as vice president of energy policy at Associated Industries of Massachusetts (A.I.M.). Before joining A.I.M., O’Connor was operations manager for Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority PowerOptions program. She also served as chairman of the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Rockport.[1]
