What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
1. Protecting our Second Amendment Rights 2. Immigration 3. Term Limits
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Immigration - Our beautiful Constitution and Bill of Rights have been the envy of the world for centuries. Citizens of the world have longed to come to our great nation and enjoy these freedoms and liberties that many countries do not have. However, when managing a country the size of America, there must be rules and regulations regarding the flow of foreign nationals into our nation. I am a proponent of “Legal Immigration” to America. Angela believes that those coming to our nation need to be properly documented, have the desire to assimilate into our society, and want to become American citizens. I also believe that if someone comes into our nation illegally, that person should be prosecuted by our legal system, and dealt with. We should not reward those who come to our nation illegally, take advantage of our generosity, then live outside the law. I believe in taking the following actions to solve the Immigration issue: - Building the wall and ending chain migration. - Ending the “Catch and Release” policy by making expedited removal of illegal aliens mandatory. - Ending the sanctuary city trend by holding back federal funding and holding elected officials who violate our federal immigration laws legally accountable. - Placing stiffer penalties on businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants. - Prohibiting illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer-funded welfare benefits. - Withholding certain federal funds to states that allow illegal immigrants to get drivers’ licenses.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
I look up to President Trump and my Mom. Both are great people. President Trump is a great president. My mom is very supportive of my campaign for Congress.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Listening to people, then taking action on their behalf, to truly represent them.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I have experience working in the Oregon Legislature.
