Angela Warner Sims is a judge for the Madison County Circuit Court in Indiana. She was appointed by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2012, and was sworn in on December 14, 2012. Sims became the first woman to serve on the court in Madison County. She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 31, 2020.

Education

Sims earned her J.D. from Indiana University's McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis in 1999.

Career

Prior to joining the court, Sims worked in private practice at the firm of Hulse, Lacey, Hardacre, Austin & Sims. Previously, Sims had served as a major felony public defender and specialty court public defender in Madison County.
