Angela Warner Sims is a judge for the Madison County Circuit Court in Indiana.[1] She was appointed by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2012, and was sworn in on December 14, 2012.[2] Sims became the first woman to serve on the court in Madison County. She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 31, 2020.[3]

Education

Sims earned her J.D. from Indiana University's McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis in 1999.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Sims worked in private practice at the firm of Hulse, Lacey, Hardacre, Austin & Sims. Previously, Sims had served as a major felony public defender and specialty court public defender in Madison County.[2]
