Angelica Hernandez was a judge of the 105th District Court in Texas.[1] She was elected in 2010. She lost re-election in 2014.[2]

Hernandez ran for re-election to the 105th District Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 47 percent of the vote. She competed against Jack William Pulcher. [2][3][4]

2010

Hernandez defeated Manuel J. Banales in the general election, winning 50.95 percent of the vote.[5]

Education

Hernandez earned a B.A. from St. Mary College, going on to receive her J.D. from Washburn University of Topeka. She was admitted to the bar in 2000.[6]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 2010, Hernandez gained almost ten years of experience as an attorney. She served as a civil defense attorney, representing both private and public entities, and also worked as a partner in her own insurance defense firm. From 2007 to 2009, she was an assistant district attorney for Nueces County.[7]
