Angelika Schroeder
Angelika Schroeder (Democratic Party) was a member of the Colorado State Board of Education, representing Colorado's 2nd Congressional District. She assumed office in 2009. She left office on January 8, 2025.
Schroeder (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Colorado State Board of Education to represent Colorado's 2nd Congressional District. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Angelika Schroeder earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Colorado. She went on to earn a master's degree and a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Colorado and became a CPA focusing on tax issues. Schroeder has also taught accounting at the university level.[1]
Political career
Colorado State Board of Education (2009-2025)
Schroeder was first appointed to the board in December 2008 following the election of board member Evie Hudak to the state Senate and took office in January 2009. Schroeder was elected to fill the remaining two years of the term in 2010 and was reelected in 2012.[1][2] Schroeder left office on January 8, 2025.
Boulder Valley School Board (1999-2007)
Schroeder served on the Boulder Valley School Board from 1999 until 2007. During her time on the board, Schroeder served as its treasurer and vice president.[1]
