Anita Goebel
Anita Goebel was a member of the Garland City Council in Texas, representing District 2. She served on the council from July 2012 until December 12, 2017, when she resigned because of recall petitions filed against her by residents of Garland.[1][2]
Elections
2016
Four seats on the Garland City Council were up for election in 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 19, 2016. Since only one person filed to run for each of the seats, the election was cancelled. Had there been any contested races, the election would have occurred on May 7, 2016.[3][4] Goebel was unopposed in her bid for re-election to District 2 of the city council.
2014
Elections for the city council of Garland, Texas took place on May 10, 2014. Incumbent Anita Goebel ran unopposed for the District 2 seat.[5]
