Anita Josey-Herring is the chief judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She assumed office as the chief judge on October 1, 2020.[1] She was appointed to the court as an associate judge in 1997 by President Bill Clinton.[2]
Education
Josey-Herring received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1982 and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1987.[2]
