I am a lifelong Georgian whose commitment to service runs deep. A retired educator, community advocate, and proven leader, I am running for the Georgia House of Representatives, District 23, to bring calm, confident, and solutions driven leadership to the State Capitol.

I was born and raised in Cobb County, where I learned the value of hard work, honesty, and faith from my parents, Clint and Nell Adcox. My father served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War Two, and my mother devoted more than forty years to teaching. Their examples shaped my lifelong dedication to serving others.

I began my career in public education in 1986, later moving to Cherokee County in 1999 at the request of the superintendent. Over the next two decades, I served as assistant principal at Carmel Elementary, principal at Free Home and Arnold Mill Elementary, and I proudly opened Indian Knoll Elementary as its first principal. After thirty one years in education, I retired in 2018 but continued my calling as a Professor of Education and Chair of the Leadership Department at Piedmont University.

Beyond the classroom, I lead the Friends of Holly Springs Police Foundation, supporting local officers and first responders. I am a strong advocate for veterans, families, and educators, always focused on strengthening my community through service and integrity.
  • We need to fully eliminate the Georgia State Income Tax and join the states that have already done so, we must remain competitive in the Union with our tax code and pursue helping create an affordable enviorment for Georgians to succeed in.
  • Elections are a part of the very foundation of our Republic, without faith in that system, it will crumble. We saw over the last 2 elections abnormalities and oddities that should not occur in our election processes. Thus I'm committed to restoring accountability and respect to our elections.
  • Stopping illegal immigration is vital to protecting the wallet and saftey of Georgians. We have a friendly administration in now, and so, we must be as proactive as possible in cooperating as best we can with federal law enforcement to root out the illegal immigrants in Georgia.
Affordability , Election Integrity, Immigration
With the after effects of Bidenflation to become a permanent fixture in our economics, affordability is going to be one of the most important issues in the coming decade. Which is why the State Legislature must work at ways to increase our growth in a sustainable way, without the use of taxpayer dollars, and provide relief to Georgian's wallets.
My greatest accomplishment in life is my family, I am proud of my wonderful children and grandchildren.
