Ann M. Murray

Ann M. Murray is a superior court justice for the Penobscot County Superior Court in Maine.[1] She was appointed to this position on July 30, 2010, by Governor John Baldacci (D). She was confirmed by the Maine Senate Judiciary Committee on August 16, leading to full confirmation by the Maine Senate.[2][3]
Murray was reappointed to a seven-year term by Gov. Paul LePage (R) on September 20, 2017.[4]
Biography
Murray received her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.[2] After graduating from law school, Murray spent four years working in the Penobscot District Attorney's Office. Next, she worked in private practice. In 1999, Murray was appointed to the Maine District Court. From 2007 to 2010, she served as chief judge of that court. In 2010, Murray was appointed to the Maine Superior Court.[2]
