Ann Ruttle is a district court judge for the 16th District Court, which presides over Kenton County in Kentucky.[1] She was first elected to the position in 1994 and was most recently retained by voters in 2010 and 2014.[2][3]  Her four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

General: She defeated Christopher Nordloh in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 56.3 percent of the vote. [5] 

2010

Ruttle ran unopposed and was re-elected to the 16th District Court on November 2, 2010, in the general election.[6]

Education

Ruttle graduated from LaSalette Academy in 1969. She earned a degree in business administration from Northern Kentucky University in 1980, graduating cum laude, and received her J.D. in 1984 from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law.[3]

Career

After finishing law school, Ruttle opened the first all-female law firm in Boone County with Ann McBee. She practiced law for ten years prior to her election to the 16th District Court in 1994.[3]
