As a member of the NC House, I’ll fight for the residents of District 62 – to defend their constitutional rights, the principles of our democratic republic, and the continued economic development and conservative fiscal management of our state.

With six years as an Oak Ridge town council member, including four years as mayor, I’m uniquely qualified to represent the towns of Summerfield, Stokesdale, Colfax, and Oak Ridge, as well as the cities of High Point and Greensboro.

I’ve built strong relationships with local leaders and with representatives in Raleigh, who awarded more than $9M to Oak Ridge during my tenure as mayor. I’ll bring that expertise to the rest of the district.

I understand the distinct needs of each of the towns and cities in District 62. I will represent them at the state level with support for continued economic and infrastructure development, while preserving their unique identities and vital interests.

My leadership experience, combined with over 25 years as a small business owner, means that I know how to work with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to craft and implement ambitious visions that improve our community.

  • I'll support new and existing businesses to further our state's economic development, work to lower inflation, and support the conservative management of our state budget
  • I’ll be a champion for excellence in our schools, community colleges, and state universities. I’ll defend parent’s rights, and fight for increased school choice through vouchers, public charter schools, and rebuilding our public schools, free from political indoctrination
  • I'll fight to uphold the laws of our state and fight against rising crime rates, while advocating for our first responders, law enforcement, and veterans.
These are just some of the public policy areas that I'm personally passionate about: Economic development, fighting the effects of inflation on citizens, conservative fiscal management that focuses on lowering taxes and reducing government waste and unnecessary regulation, ensuring excellence without indoctrination jin our schools, enforcement of our state's laws, preservation of the unique identity of our towns, cities, and state.

On the national level, I’ll add my voice to national efforts to protect our constitution, secure the border, maintain a strong military, and rebuild our economy by lowering taxes and fighting the inflation that is lowering the value of everyone’s paychecks.
The NC State House is the people's house. Like local government, it is designed to be responsive to the needs and desires of the people, while also requiring the kind of executive experience and judgement necessary to make tough choices.
