Ann has lived in Utah for 30 years. She attended Utah Valley University, then graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science. She has strong ties to the state, with many of her large, extended family calling it home, and calls herself a “Utahn by choice”. She works here, recreates here, serves here, and loves living in Utah.

Ann is a strong believer in giving back to the communities in which she lives and works. Patriotism means participation. It means voting, being educated about the candidates and issues presented on the ballot. It means helping others find, and use, their voice and skills to serve. It is this passion that Ann will bring to District 53.

  • Responsible use of the taxes we all pay is key, and will help ensure a stronger economy, with more affordable housing, better transportation options, and build and maintain important infrastructure from roads and schools to utility connections and internet for work, learning, and life.
  • Our tax dollars and government should also be working for a cleaner environment (in additional to personal responsibility). We need to preserve the precious resources we have like water, clean air. It's time to include renewable energy in our economy and lives to make sure we are good stewards of this land.
  • Utah need to focus on providing services that improve their lives from medical and mental health to education and training to encourage a robust workforce and thriving population.
Each person should be able to make decisions about the size and timing of their family.

Providing important services to ensure a physically and mentally healthy from prenatal to death is critical to the wellbeing of a state and nation.

Preserving the resources of Utah for generations to enjoy - reducing pollution and safeguarding water and natural land.

Every adult citizen has not only the right to vote, but the responsibility to vote and have their vote recognized. Our Republic will stand with the checks and balances our Forefathers imagined to ensure all citizens are represented in their government.
