Ann Urling
Ann Urling was a Republican candidate for West Virginia treasurer in the 2016. She won the Republican nomination in the May 10 primary election. She was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Biography
Urling grew up in Shinnston, West Virginia and is a graduate of West Virginia University and the WV Bankers Graduate School of Banking. She has worked for Summit Community Bank since 1999 and is its Senior Vice President. Urling is also President of the Board of Directors for the Childhood Language Center and a member of the boards of the Vandalia Rotary, Rea of Hope, and WV Symphony League. She is an avid golfer and resides in South Hills with her husband, Chip, and two of their three children.[1]

Urling filed to run as a Republican candidate for treasurer of West Virginia in 2016. She defeated state Rep. Larry W. Faircloth (R) in the May 10 primary election and competed with incumbent John Perdue (D) and Michael A. Young (Lib.) in the November 8 general election.
