Anna is dedicated to making Anchorage work for everyone. When she moved to downtown Anchorage more than a decade ago, she immediately fell in love with the city and knew she wanted to invest her time in making Anchorage the best place it could be—and that’s exactly what she’s done. She’s lived in West Anchorage since 2012, becoming a first-time homeowner in south Turnagain, and spends every summer turning their small garden into a lively green oasis. In her career as a planning and project management consultant, Anna uses her work experience in urban planning and public policy on the core issues facing our city and finds ways to remove barriers for business. Outside of work, Anna served as Secretary and then President of her community council (Turnagain), Chair of the Anchorage Budget Advisory Commission, and Board President of her Homeowners Association.

  • Economy: We need to encourage new businesses, support workers with good jobs, improve education and child care
  • Better City Services: Everyone relies on public services, such as roads, water and sewer, snowplowing. Maintain a good level of service for residents and business.
