Anna Ferguson was a 2014 candidate for the Superior Court of Nevada County in California.[1][2]

Ferguson ran for election to the Superior Court of Nevada County.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 31.12 percent of the vote. She competed against Angela L. Bradrick, Jeff Ingram, Jeffrey A. Lake, and Robert Tice-Raskin.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 43.2 percent of the vote. She competed against Robert Tice-Raskin. [1][2] 

Endorsements

On April 15, 2014, the Nevada County Sheriff's Management Association announced it would be endorsing Ferguson in her bid for the superior court judge seat.[3]

Education

Ferguson received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Santa Barbara. She then earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1993.[4]

Career

At the time of her candidacy, Ferguson was the assistant district attorney in Nevada County, a position she has held for seven years. She has previously worked in private practice, as a public defender, and for the state Inspector General's office.[4]
