Anna Hui is the Missouri Director of Labor and Industrial Relations. Hui assumed office on March 30, 2017. Hui's term ended on January 13, 2025.
She was appointed to the position on March 30, 2017 by Gov. Eric Greitens (R). Hui previously served as the Illinois Director of Labor from February 2017 to April 2017.[1]
Biography
Hui holds a B.S. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.B.A. from University of Maryland University College, and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Outside of the public sector, Hui's career includes time spent working as a public relations coordinator and an attorney, in addition to a six-year stint as a senior adviser and policy analyst at The Heritage Foundation. Hui lives with her family in Columbia, Missouri.[1][2]

Assistant Illinois Director of Labor (2015-2017)
Hui was appointed as Assistant Director of Labor in Illinois by Gov. Bruce Rauner on May 8, 2015. She left office in 2017.[3]
Associate U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor (2002-2009)
Hui was appointed Associate Deputy Secretary of Labor by President George Bush in 2002. She left office in 2009.[1]
